Instructions
  1. In a large sauce pan add the Cherry Dr. Pepper, Ketchup, tomato paste, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and all seasonings.
  2. Whisk together.
  3. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low
  4. Simmer over VERY low heat for 1 hour.
  5. Make sure to stir occasionally.
  6. The sauce will thicken and will educe by almost half on its own.
  7. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
  8. Keep in an air tight container in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  9. Place the ribs on a in a foil lined 9 x 13 pan.
  10. Sprinkle with Chipotle seasoning, run into the meat on all sides.
  11. Now pour 1/4 cup of Dr Pepper Cherry soda on the meat.
  12. Fold the foil over the ribs to cover all ends.
  13. Fold the foil to seal.
  14. Allow to marinate for 2 hours.
  15. Coat grill with non-stick spray oil.
  16. Heat grill to 325°
  17. Place ribs wrapped in foil on the grill.
  18. Slow cook for 1 hour.
  19. Check meat rotate and cook for additional 30 min .
  20. Remove from the grill and coat in BBQ sauce.
  21. Place back on the grill for an additional 30 min.
  22. Continue to add BBQ sauce to the ribs as needed to ensure a full coating
  23. Serve immediately.
