Pumpkin Maple Apple Blondes

  2. Apple Filling :
  3. Using a medium pot over low heat, cook the apple filling mixture for
  4. about 5-7 minutes or until apples have cooked.
  5. Allow to cool completely
  6. Blondies :
  7. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 11×7 baking dish with pam baking spray
  8. Using a large bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar and sugar until
  9. light and fluffy
  10. Beat in the eggs, 1 at a time until combined
  11. Beat in the salt and vanilla
  12. Using a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, ground
  13. cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice
  14. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients into the wet
  15. Spread half of the batter into the pan
  16. Spread half of the apple filling onto the top of the batter
  17. Spread remaining batter over the apple filling
  18. Place into the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick
  19. comes out clean
  20. Maple Pumpkin Spice Glaze
  21. Using a small pot, melt the butter, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon and
  22. pumpkin spice over medium heat
  23. Once butter has melted, remove from heat and whisk in ½ C powdered
  24. sugar until smooth and combined
  25. Spread evenly over the bars and allow to cool completely
  26. Cut and enjoy!
