Paper Plate Scarecrow
Materials:
- Paper plate
- Tan craft paint
- Brown, yellow, orange and pink construction paper or craft paper
- Scissors
- Craft glue
- Black marker
- Paint brush
Directions:

- Have the kids paint their plates tan- we painted the back side of our plates but either side will work
- Draw out the desired shape of your hat onto some brown paper
- have the kids cut out the hat, yellow strips for hair, a nose and pink dots for cheeks
- Glue your yellow strips of hair to the back side of the hat
- Glue the hat to your paper plate
- Glue on your nose and cheeks
- Draw on your mouth, eyes, patches and stitches with a black marker (children may need assistance with this depending upon their age)
