For those of you stuck in home and are super bummed out that you cannot just run down and go to the movie theaters, NBCUniversal has decided to help out with this situation.

#MovieNews – Universal are releasing The Invisible Man, The Hunt and more ‘On Demand’ this weekend! —————————————————————— As Covid-19 continues to gut the entertainment industry, shutting down cinemas across the world to prevent community transmission of the virus, Universal Pictures announced that three theatrical releases will shift from cinemas to at-home releases this week. The company announced that films already on release will arrive on home platforms such as Apple, Amazon and Sky for a price. The US statement includes word that each film will cost $19.99 for a 48-hour rental period. Movies included so far are The Invisible Man, The Hunt and Emma (all available Friday). In addition, once it hits its scheduled release date, Trolls World Tour (due here and across the pond on 10 April), would also be included. This doesn’t mean every Universal film set for 2020 will arrive this way, but it’s predicted that the policy will stay in place while public health is fully at risk. “Universal Pictures has a broad and diverse range of movies with 2020 being no exception. Rather than delaying these films or releasing them into a challenged distribution landscape, we wanted to provide an option for people to view these titles in the home that is both accessible and affordable,” said Jeff Shell, CEO of NBCUniversal ——————————————————————— #Universal #InvisibleMan #TheHunt #Emma #Trolls2 #TrollsWorldTour #Coronavirus #FilmNews #Movie #Film #Blockbuster #Podcast #Screenwriting #FilmMaking #Gazillionaire #TheDaviesLocker #TDL #Instagood #InstaFilm #PhotoOfTheDay #PicOfTheDay #IGers #Amazing #NoFilter #L4L #Like4Like

Now I know several of you might be thinking ‘Wow $20 for only 2 days,’ however if we went out to watch these shows in the theaters we would be spending much more, this is a great opportunity to save a little by not going to the theater and have a chance to still watch the shows we have been counting down for.
