Number one catch fishing Valentine
How fun is this sweet valentine, this is great for anyone who loves fishing. It would even make a wonderful fathers day gift for the avid outdoorsman
Materials
- glue
- beef stick (or sticks depending upon how long they are)
- Mentos (in plastic container)
- Candy bar
- Mints
- String
- Paper (cut into a fish shape)
- Other container if desired to attach fish to
Directions
- if you required 2 beef sticks glue the ends of the plastic together or tape together
- Glue on your candy bar over the top of your beef sticks at the bottom end
- Glue just above the candy bar your mentos container on its side
- Glue on your mints evenly spaced down your beef stick (see attached image)
- Thread a piece of string through your mints leaving some slack at one end for your paper fish
- Wrap the other end of your string several times around the mentos container (your reel)
- tape or glue your paper fish to the other end
- You can also attach your fish to a plastic container of candy like gummy worms (looks like your bait)- we chose to use an actual container of lures to attach for ours.
