Spring Topsy Turvy Pots

These Topsy turvy planters are so fun to make and seriously look adorable in your yard! We made some fun Christmas ones this past winter (see them HERE), and with them being such a big hit we decided we had to whip up some fun spring and summer ones as well.

Materials:

  1. Clay pots (these where the 10″ pots)
  2. Outdoor rated paint and or spray paint
  3. Paint brushes and outdoor rated paint for detail work
  4. Large Wiggle eyes optional
  5. 2 -Small round water discs that go under your pots  (for the frog eyes)
  6. Flowers and potting soil
  7. Seal coat Optional
  8. Large pipe or conduit and screws

Directions:

  1. Paint pots how desired, we sprayed our pots first with outdoor rated spray paint, then filled in the details with basic craft paint then added a seal coat
  2. I used e9000 to glue the pot bases on for eyes
  3. hammer a heavy duty pipe into your ground
  4. Thread the pots one at a time down the pipe (we added screws into the pipe between each pot to help the pots sit at an angle)
  5. Fill your posts with potting soil and desired flowers
