Turkey Apple Slices
Ingredients
- Craft stick, or food stick/ cake pop stick
- Candy melts- Brown
- Apples
- Candy eyes
- Candy Corns
- M&M- Orange
- licorice piece (red- we sliced off a corner for ours)
- Wax paper
- Knife
Directions
- Slice your apples in long sheets- see images (about 1/4″ thick)
- poke a craft stick or cake pop stick into the side
- Melt your brown candy melts per bag directions
- Spoon candy melts over your apple slices or dip them
- place on a wax sheet of paper
- Place onto the front side of your apple 2 each candy eyes
- Next add a half of an orange M&M under the eyes, and a piece of a red licorice
- Add several candy corns around the top half of your apple to make the feathers
- freeze for 1-2 minutes until set up
- Enjoy right away,- these are best enjoyed right away but can last for most of a day in the fridge
