Patriotic Apple Slices
Ingredients:
- Apples (we used Granny Smith to help offset the sweet)
- Candy Melts (Blue, Red, White)
- Wood Skewers
- Edible Stars HERE
Directions:
- Slice your apples into large discs (remove any seeds)
- Slide your apple slices onto your skewers
- Melt your candy melts per their directions
- Dip your apples into the white candy melts and place in the fridge or freezer to set up
- Dip the top corner of your white coated apple into the blue candy melt
- Sprinkle the edible stars onto the blue
- Use a small plastic bag with a small hole cut out to pipe on your red stripes
- For drizzled apples simply use a fork or spoon dip into the candy melts and quickly let the candy melts run off onto your apples
- Place apples back into the fridge or freezer to set up
- Enjoy right away
Note: Due to the moisture from the apples they do not last a long time, we recommend eating them right away
