Materials:

  1. Potion jars
  2. Rubbing Alcohol
  3. Water (bottled)
  4. Pearl Ex Powder 
  5. Food Coloring
  6. Craft paints or inks
  7. Wax and wax stamps
  8. Twine
  9. Glue
  10. Potion jar labels

Directions:

  1. Fill your potion jars 3/4 of the way full of bottled water
  2. Fill the remaining 1/4 with rubbing alcohol
  3. Add desired amount of pearl ex powder and stir
  4. You can add food coloring if desired or used inks for different effects
  5. For mermaid hair add some rice noodles to your jar
  6. Wrap the top of your jars with twine and use wax to seal the top if desired
  7. Print off potion labels (we found several on Etsy or shutterstock to purchase and use) use decoupage to glue on
  8. Add any other misc. embellishments
