Reindeer Poop Cookies

Kids tend to love everything poop so why not make some fun Reindeer Poop Cookies, these are always a great hit with the kids and are a fund idea to make for an elf on the shelf idea as well.

Reindeer Poop cookies
Instructions
  1. Directions
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  3. Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside
  4. Using a standing mixer, cream together the butter, powder sugar, vanilla and egg and mix until combined and creamy
  5. Using a large bowl, combined the flour, baking soda and cream of tarter
  6. Gradually add in the dry ingredients and mix on low speed
  7. Using your hands continue to mix until fully combined
  8. Lightly flour a cutting board and knead the cookie dough a couple of times
  9. Roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch thick
  10. Cut out 12 Circles and place onto a cookie sheet
  11. Bake for 8 minutes or until lightly golden brown
  12. Repeat steps until completely out of dough
  13. Let cookies cool completely
  14. Red and Green Butter cream frosting
  15. Frosting Directions:
  16. Using a standing mixer, beat the butter on medium speed until creamy
  17. Mix in the powdered sugar, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla extract until combined and smooth
  18. If the frosting is to thin, mix in 1/4 C more of powdered sugar
  19. Divide the frosting into two bowls and add green gel food coloring into one bowl
  20. Add red gel food coloring into the second bowl
  21. Place piping bag in the glass and fold the edges over the sides of the glass
  22. Scoop the red frosting into one side of the piping bag
  23. Scoop the green frosting into the other side of the piping bag
  24. Pipe the frosting onto the cookies starting from the middle of the cookie and going around to the edge of the cookie
  25. Allow frosting to slightly harden for an hour before enjoying!
